Now that IC’s run of Chicago is finally over, I have my normal academic life back, as opposed to selling apple cider donuts and Frizzante to a smorgasbord of patrons every night.
My latest movie choices have been pretty bomb.
First off…
How in hell had I not seen this movie before?! It’s incredibly poignant, despite how unrealistic the story sometimes is. The soundtrack is through the roof. If you haven’t seen it, do it NOW. If you have, watch it again.
Aaaand everyone’s favorite gender-bender…
This movie…ugh, it was absolutely marvelous. Barbara Streisand is, in a word, a goddess. Talk about a demanding role. And Mandy Patinkin is her counterpart. What more could you ask for?
